How to set up Yandex mail forwarding. How to set up mail forwarding in a Yandex.Mail mailbox Pin a letter to the top of the list

If you are going on vacation and will be unavailable, set up an autoresponder - an automatic response will be sent to every incoming letter that meets the specified condition.

  • Turn on the Reply with the following text option and enter your message.

The answering machine is not working

    Forwarding letters to another address

In the If block, set the conditions for processing:

For more information about parameters and values, see the section How to write a condition correctly.

  • For one rule, you can set several conditions that can be executed simultaneously or separately:
    1. In the If block, click the Add condition button, select a parameter and its value.
    2. Specify whether the following conditions must be met simultaneously:

Enable the Forward to address option and specify the address to which letters will be forwarded. If you want to save copies of emails when forwarding, enable the option to save a copy when forwarding.

    Forwarding doesn't work

Make sure that the required rule is activated on the Mail Processing Rules page, and that the address to which emails should be sent is confirmed.

Check for typos in the address you provided.

Also check whether rules are configured in the recipient mailbox that delete messages or move them to the Spam folder.

Indicate correct personal data in Yandex.Passport and link a phone number to your account. Our security system may have found your account suspicious and blocked your mailbox. Most often, this happens due to the fact that the phone number is not attached to the box or the Passport contains a fictitious first and last name. The blocking will end automatically after 24 hours. If you try to send an email during this time, the block will continue for another 24 hours.

Automatic sorting of letters into folders

If you receive a lot of letters from different senders, for example, on work issues, from social networks or from friends, Yandex.Mail will help you organize them into folders. To set up automatic sorting of letters:

In the If block, set the conditions for processing:

For more information about parameters and values, see the section How to write a condition correctly.

  • For one rule, you can set several conditions that can be executed simultaneously or separately:
    1. In the If block, click the Add condition button, select a parameter and its value.
    2. Specify whether the following conditions must be met simultaneously:

To automatically send emails to the correct folders, enable the Put in folder option, and then select a folder from the list on the right. If you want emails to be automatically given a specified label, enable the Add label option, and then select a label from the list on the right.

If none of the rules are enabled or none of the conditions are met, the messages end up in the Inbox.

    Autosort doesn't work

This may be due to the following reasons:

A little time has passed since setting up the rule. After you have set up the rule for automatic processing of letters, wait a few minutes - the rule may not work immediately. The rule conditions are specified incorrectly. Check the properties and parameters of the condition. There are higher priority rules in the list of rules. If there are rules with the same conditions in the list above, or one of the rules above has the option Do not apply other rules, this may affect the execution of the rule. For more information, see the Rules Execution Order section. Letters are collected by the collector not in the Inbox If a letter has been collected from another mailbox of yours, that is, the collection of letters is configured, and is not in the Inbox folder, the rule will not apply to it.

If after a few minutes the rule still does not work and changing the settings does not help, please write to Yandex.Mail support using the form at the bottom of the page.

    White and black list

    Black list

To block emails from an unwanted recipient, add his address to the blacklist:

    Blacklist restrictions:

    • You can only add a full mailing address to the blacklist, for example " ". Incomplete entries, such as "*" or "@fury.ru", will be ignored. Therefore, you cannot add all addresses from one domain to the blacklist, but you can set up a letter processing rule that deletes letters in which this domain is mentioned in the From field.
    • When you add an address to the blacklist, new emails from unwanted recipients will no longer be sent to your mailbox. Old letters from him will not be deleted and will remain in the mailbox.
    • Emails forwarded or collected from another mailbox of yours are not included in the blacklist. To block such emails, go to the mailbox from which the emails are sent or collected and set up a blacklist in it.

To remove an address from the blacklist, mark it and click the Remove from list button.

    White list

If you are subscribed to a mailing list that is incorrectly identified as spam, you can exclude this address from filtering by clicking the Not Spam button on the letter reading page. . The address will be added to the white list, and new letters from the mailing list will be sent to the Inbox.

You can edit the white list at any time in the Settings → Email processing rules menu. To add an address to the white list, fill out the field and click the Add button. To remove an address from the white list, mark it and click the Remove from list button.

Emails are coming from an address on the blacklist

It's possible that the problematic email arrived before you added the sender's address to your blacklist. Try to remember when you added the address to the blacklist and compare this date with the date you received the letter.

If the recommendations did not help and the blacklist does not work correctly, contact support using the form at the bottom of the page. Indicate which blacklisted address you receive letters from and attach a file with the properties of the last letter received from this addressee.

Emails from an address on the white list end up in Spam.

Emails may end up in the Spam folder if you use an email program to work with Yandex.Mail (for example, Microsoft Outlook, The Bat!, Thunderburd for a computer or Mail.Ru, Gmail, Mailbox for a smartphone or tablet). Some email programs have built-in antispam filters that can independently transfer messages to the Spam folder. Disable spam checking in your email program settings.

If the program does not check emails for spam, change the password for your Yandex mailbox. Changing the password will help if you set up the program earlier, but are not using it now, but the program continues to work and transfer letters to Spam.

If you don't use an email program, make sure all options on the Email Programs page are disabled.

Yandex mail. How to create rules for processing incoming emails and add an autoresponder?

In one of the previous articles, I answered in detail the questions: how to create an email account on Yandex, add a signature and create new folders with tags, read the answers here. Now I want to continue getting acquainted with this mail, because not all the tricks have been revealed.

Today you will get answers to questions like:

    Create filters and rules for processing incoming mail;
    - add and remove an answering machine.

How to create filters (rules) for incoming letters on Yandex mail

Once you create and configure rules for processing incoming mail, you will always have order in your mailbox. You can configure the layout of letters into folders, set up forwarding of letters to another email box, create an automatic response to an incoming letter, and much more.

First, you need to go to Yandex mail, if you don’t have one, create according to these instructions and don't forget choose a strong password.

In the upper right corner you need to click on the gear icon, and then select the inscription RULES FOR PROCESSING LETTERS.

In this section, all the rules for processing mail are created: you can set up an autoresponder, set up automatic movement of letters to the desired folder, or even delete them. I will show below some examples of processing incoming mail.

For all conditions, the order is the same: fill in the required fields below, check/uncheck the boxes in the settings if required, and then click on the CREATE RULE button at the bottom.

Please note that the created rules only apply to new emails. If you want to apply them to existing ones, click on the APPLY TO EXISTING EMAILS button below.

First, you need to select which emails the rule you created will apply to.

You don't want to receive letters from any person. Then in the IF field you select: FROM WHOM + COINCIDENTS WITH + in the empty field write the person’s email address, or his first and last name. You can click ADD CONDITION and fill out several conditions at once.

For clarity, see the GIF picture below. If you want to learn how to make GIFs from videos for free, read this article.

If you want letters from a specific person to go to a specific folder, make similar settings.

You add a condition that the mail matches or contains certain text, and then set what needs to be done with this letter. That is, check the PUT IN A FOLDER checkbox, select which folder to move it to and click CREATE RULE.

If you don’t know how to create new folders with tags, read a separate article.

How to automatically forward incoming emails to another email?

To do this, on the same page for creating mail processing rules, check the FORWARD TO ADDRESS box and enter in the empty field email to receive the letter. Read also: where is the best place to set up an email?

Below you can set up notifications for another email. And every time a new letter arrives, you will receive a notification to the specified mailbox.

How to add and remove an autoresponder on Yandex mail

An autoresponder is a letter that your mail will automatically send to all incoming letters that you receive. You can insert absolutely any information into the answering machine.

The settings are made in the same way in the MAIL PROCESSING RULES section.

You need to check the box next to the inscription REPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING TEXT, and in the empty field write the text that will automatically arrive in response to each incoming letter. And then click CREATE RULE

In order to delete an answering machine, you need to uncheck the box next to the words REPLY WITH THE NEXT TEXT and save the changes.

That's all, the article turned out to be long, so in the next one I will continue the topic of Yandex mail and tell you how:

    Set up mail collection from other mailboxes;
    - add a user to work with several mailboxes simultaneously.

Dear readers! Write in the comments, do you use an autoresponder in your mail and rules for processing incoming letters?

Purpose of the Rules for processing letters

Message processing rules are designed to fine-tune the parameters that will be used when processing and delivering different messages, depending on the set of conditions that they will meet. Each condition checks some characteristics of the message, such as the sender and recipient addresses, the names of viruses and other threats found in the letter, the size of the letter, etc. It is possible to set various combinations of checks for these parameters, and thereby change the procedure for processing messages.

Both general Rules that are checked for all processed emails and Rules associated with specific users, their aliases and user groups can be specified.

General Rules for processing letters are set in the main configuration file Dr.Web MailD, in sections, a Rules for processing letters associated with users and user groups are set inbuilt-in database.

Placing Rules in the built-in database is most justified if the number of users with different email processing settings is large, since processing Rules in the configuration file becomes ineffective, since the complexity of searching for settings in it is proportional to the number of Rules. Searching for triggered Rules in the built-in database in this case works more efficiently, and, in addition, memory usage is optimized.

The procedure for processing letters and viewing the Rules

When a message is processed by some plug-in or other component, it may prompt you MailD core the value of some parameter. In this case, the appropriate parameter value is selected according to the following algorithm:

The Rules available in the built-in database and associated with the recipient of this letter are viewed (the recipient is determined by the one specified by the sender RCPT TO).

Views the Rules that exist in the built-in database and are associated with all groups to which the recipient user belongs. Group Rules are viewed in reverse order: from the settings of the most recent group to the first group in the list.

    The rules specified in sections.

Please note the procedure for bypassing the Rules:

o All Rules in the currently viewed Rule Group are always checked in the order in which they were specified.

o For each checked Rule, the condition is checked CONDITION – and if it is true, then the value of the required parameter is searched among the elements of the section SETTINGS of this rule.

o If the CONDITION condition turned out to be false, then the review of the Rule ends and the transition to searching for the value in the next Rule occurs.

o If the CONDITION condition true and followed by a directive cont , then the transition to checking the next Rule occurs. If after the true CONDITION there is a directive stop , then the Rules viewing ends regardless of whether the value of the required parameter was found or not.

The value of the parameter based on the results of viewing the Rules is always determined as follows:

If the required parameter is found in one of the triggered rules, then its value extracted from the part SETTINGS (note that when multiple Rules are triggered for the same parameter, the resulting value of this parameter depends on its semantics. For more information on this, see the subsectionsRules Format And Special cases of the Rules).

If there are no Rules, or no Rule has worked, or in none of thetriggered Rulesthe parameter was not found, then it is extractedthe value of this parameter specifiedin the corresponding section of the configuration file.

If the required parameter is not specified in the configuration file, its default value is used.

The recording format of the Rules for processing letters is discussed in the subsectionRules Format.

Special cases of the Rules (including Rules with a missing part SETTINGS, as well as Rules using cloning parameters) are discussed in subsectionSpecial cases of the Rules.

Error handling and checking the correctness of the Rules are discussed in the subsectionHandling errors and checking the correctness of Rules.

Sometimes it becomes necessary to forward all letters that come to one of your emails to another email automatically. To make it clearer, here is an example. You have mail on Yandex and Google (Gmail). You use GMail all the time, this is your main mail, and Yandex from time to time. So, in order not to periodically log into your Yandex mail, you can make sure that letters from there are sent to GMail automatically and then you won’t have to log into your Yandex account at all to regularly check new letters.

In this article I will show you how to set up the forwarding of letters from one mail to another using the example of different mail services.

All this works the same in all email services, the only difference is in their interfaces, i.e. the corresponding settings are located differently.

Earlier, in a series of articles, I looked at another way to receive letters to the desired email from other email accounts. It lies in the fact that you do not set up the automatic forwarding of letters, which I will talk about today, but connect the desired mailbox in the settings (the function is called “Mail Collection”), for example, via the POP3 protocol, and from there the constant collection of new letters begins. The method is similar, but in some cases it is more difficult to set up than a regular transfer.

If you are interested in the method of collecting mail, then this is described in the relevant articles: collection in GMail, in Yandex, in Mail.ru

Below I will show in detail how to set up the forwarding of letters from Yandex mail. And then I will briefly touch on 2 more mail services (GMail and Mail.ru), on which everything is done in a similar way, with the only difference being the interface.

Setting up mail forwarding from Yandex to any other email

Go to your mail settings and select “Email processing rules”.

    Click “Create Rule”.

Now our task will be to create a rule by which the mail service will determine that all letters must be sent to another address that you specify.

If you want those letters that are marked as “Spam” to be sent, then you will have to create 2 separate rules on Yandex.

Creation of the 1st mandatory rule. Forwarding all emails except spam

In the rule settings, remove the “If” condition that will be added initially by clicking on the cross next to it. Because we don’t need to set conditions for selecting any specific letters. After all, we will forward everything that comes in the mail to the “Inbox”.

At the top, where you can configure for which emails to apply the created rule, you should select “to all emails except spam” and “with and without attachments”.

Below, check the “Forward to address” checkbox and indicate your email to which you want to forward all letters from the currently open email. Also enable the “Save a copy when forwarding” option.

    Click the “Create Rule” button.

Yandex will ask you to enter a password. Enter your password for your current email and click “Confirm”.

The rule will be created, but you will see the message “Waiting for address confirmation” next to it.

Now you need to go to the email address that you specified for sending letters and confirm sending there. This is done in mail services so that you cannot forward letters to random addresses that you do not have access to.

In that mail, find a letter from “Yandex.Mail”, open it and follow the link from there.

    Click “Confirm Forward”.

Ready! Now all letters that end up in your second mail (Yandex) in the “Inbox” folder will be automatically forwarded to your main mail, which you specified in the rule.

Note! According to the rule created above, letters from the Spam folder will not be forwarded! Because the rule states “for all emails except spam,” and you won’t be able to immediately include “Spam” in the rule, because forwarding for spam emails does not work and you would get the error “For emails from the Spam folder, forwarding emails with using a filter is not possible.”

But you can make sure that spam is also sent. To do this, you need to create another rule that will automatically transfer all spam to the “Inbox” folder. Therefore, if you need to send spam too, then see below for information on creating the 2nd rule.

Sometimes the necessary letters end up in spam, so if you don’t plan to go in and check your second mail at all, counting only on the automatic forwarding of letters from there, then I recommend setting up the forwarding of spam letters as well!

Creating the 2nd rule. If you need to forward “Spam”

    Let's create another rule.

Here we need to indicate that all letters that are marked by the service as “Spam” should be transferred to the inbox.

To do this, at the top, where “Apply”, select “only to spam” and “with attachments and without attachments”.

Remove the “If” condition, we still don’t need it here.

Check “Put in folder” and select “Inbox”.

    Click “Create Rule”.

    The rule is ready!

After all the manipulations done, all letters that come to your second mail (where you set up forwarding) will be processed according to the created rules. That is, if you receive a letter in your mail that the service has identified as spam, then this letter will automatically be placed in your inbox, according to the created rule No. 2 (if you decide to set it up). And everything that is in the “Inbox” folder, in turn, will be sent to the email you specified, according to rule No. 1.

Setting up forwarding using Mail.ru as an example

Go to your mail settings and select the “Filtering Rules” section.

    Select “Add forwarding”.

Specify to which address the letters should be forwarded and click “Save”.

Confirm your action by entering the password for your Mail.ru email.

Go to the email address where you will forward the letters, find the letter from Mail.ru there and click on the link from the letter (this is necessary to confirm the forwarding).

In the next window, click “Confirm” and a message will appear that the transfer is confirmed.

At Mail.ru, return to the “Filtering Rules” section and enable forwarding:

If you need to forward emails marked as “Spam”, then you need to create the same rule as in the example with Yandex mail. In the “Filtering Rules” section, add a new rule, where you specify the following settings.

In these settings, you can change the number of letters on the page, remove ads, enable or disable various functionality (for example, hot keys, dragging letters to other folders, etc.) and much more.

Go to the settings menu by pressing the button.

In the menu, select the “Rules for processing letters” section.

Separate sections include the creation of white and black lists. Creating lists is very simple - enter your email address in the field and click the “Add” button. All recipients on the black list will not be able to write you a letter, and recipients on the white list will not be included in spam.

Only full mail names can be entered into lists. For example, @mail.ru or @yandex.ru will be ignored.

You can remove users from lists here. Added users are indicated under the input field, check the box next to the user who needs to be excluded from the list and click “Remove from list”.

On the right side of the section for creating rules or filters there are simplified options for quickly creating rules by topic - “move letters to a separate folder”, “mark letters with a specific label” and “delete unnecessary letters upon receipt”.

Move emails to a separate folder. Here you enter the sender (sender's email address) and the subject of the letter. You can enter only the subject or only the address. Below we check the box if you need letters with only attachments (added files); if you don’t know whether there will be attachments, then it’s better not to check the box.

Select a folder for these letters. I have already created additional folders, so you may not have these, but will have a standard set of folders. At the bottom of the folder selection menu there is an item “New folder...” By selecting this item, you can create a new folder for letters. After filling out all the required items, click the “Create Rule” button.

Mark emails with a specific tag. The principle is the same as in the previous paragraph, only instead of a folder to move, we select a label. The default label is “Important”, but you can select any other label or create a new label. After filling out all the required items, click “Create Rule”.

Delete unnecessary emails upon receipt. The principle is identical to the previous two - enter the email address or subject (you can do one or the other, you can fill in both items at once) and click “Save rule”. Now all messages with the selected subject or from the specified recipient will be deleted.

If you fill in both fields, only those letters from the specified address that contain the specified words in the subject will be deleted. That is, it is necessary that both conditions are met.

So let's get back to creating the rules. In the main window of the rule creation section, click the “Create rule” button.

At the very beginning of the section, we choose which letters we will apply these rules to. The first button by default selects all incoming messages, except spam (by clicking the button you can change the conditions) and the second button filters letters by the presence of attachments. To change the conditions of use, click any of the buttons and select the desired parameters from the drop-down menu.

In the “If” subsection, select a condition.

1 — select the letter parameter by which the rule is created. The default is “from”, this is the sender parameter, the rule is created for a specific email address from which you receive letters. If you click on the “from whom” button, the entire list of parameters opens.

“To” - here you can filter out letters that are not addressed to you.

“Copy” - to separate copies of letters from the rest, or to delete spam if there are many recipients in the copy.

    “Copy or to”—filtering by recipient.

“Subject” – filtering by words in the subject of the letter. If spam on the same topic comes from different addresses. Or collecting letters in a folder, where the recipients are indicated in the subject (to a designer, an accountant, etc.).

“Letter body”—filter based on the content of the email. If the letter itself specifies certain phrases or, conversely, does not specify them, then you can set a specific action for them.

“Attachment name” is the parameter for the attached file. If you are expecting an important file attached to a letter and are afraid to miss it, then set this parameter and specify the file name.

“Heading” is the title of the letter itself (not to be confused with the subject).

The second condition is “matches”, “does not match”, “contains” or “does not contain”. “Matches” differs from “contains” in that in the first case a complete match of the name is required, and in the second case you can specify one of the words that may be contained.

By the way, I tried to enter several conditions for one parameter using the “|” sign, but there was no result. I had to enter each one separately. That is, if you want to set the same action for Yandex email and for Mail mail, you will have to set two identical parameters for each mail. An example below (the asterisk indicates that there is some kind of word there, that is, a condition for all letters with this extension).

If there are several conditions, then a button appears with a choice of execution - apply if at least one match is met or apply if all parameters match.

Now we select an action for the set condition.

You are offered to choose any of four actions - “delete”, “mark as read”, “move to folder” or “mark with a mark”. You can select several actions for one condition, but if you select “Delete”, the last two items will become inactive.

When moving to another folder, immediately select the folder itself to move. Selecting a folder next to an item in the form of a button with a drop-down menu. The label for the letter is selected in the same way.

When deleted, messages are not deleted, but moved to the “Deleted Items” folder.

For the following parameters, you will need to enter the password for your mailbox. These parameters are used to forward emails with specified conditions or create an autoresponder.

Today, users are increasingly trying to separate mail using different mailboxes for different purposes, which can significantly reduce the amount of spam. But if the user needs to combine messages, then in order to collect messages within one mailbox without losing received mail, a forwarding function is available in the Yandex.Mail mail service. In this step-by-step photo instructions you will learn how to set up mail forwarding in your Yandex mail mailbox.

    Step-by-step instruction

    Step 1

Start by clicking the “All Settings” button, which is shown as a gear.
